Inside My Mind

So, I was thinking about the post I wrote last week about Cheerios.  I thought the idea was funny, so I posted it.  Then I proudly humbly sarcastically thought, "Haha, I should put this on Pinterest to see if anyone comes to our blog thinking I'm one of those moms that is full of tips, tactics, and craft ideas.  That would be funny."

Then I thought, "What if some wise guy also thinks it would be funny to post that on Pinterest, and then actually did it?  Then what if people DID come to our blog looking for cute craft ideas, easy recipes, and fun activities to teach your baby to speak Spanish?  Oh boy..."

And then I though, "Well that really would be funny.  For me.  Disappointing for everyone else."  Because once they got here, the only thing they'd find would be how to squish squishy food into Cheerios, and why you shouldn't forget about binkies boiling on the stove.

And that's how I entertained myself for about an hour.

Today I learned...

Why there are holes in Cheerios.

So you can shove little bits of food inside them that your kid wouldn't otherwise try!  Ha! I feel like such a genius.  Today we've already eaten clementines and pears.  And Afton is none the wiser.  Thank you General Mills.
